Kimberley (Kim) Osborne Krug was a woman ahead of her time. For those who knew her, Kim was much more than the consummate housewife. She had the leadership and charisma of a head of state; and the creativity and vision of an entrepreneur.
Her creative outlet was crafts: painting, knitting, sewing, and baking legendary pies. She was also a superb writer. A letter from Kim was a gift; always hand-written and always from her heart. With all interactions, Kim made people feel special and happy.
Like all Osbornes, she possessed a sharp wit but accompanied it with a warm smile. Education was paramount to Kim. Before her untimely death, it was her wish that her sons attend a small school in Painesville. And they did, along with several of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was confident in her abilities and fearless in pursuing new endeavors.
Her father, Jerome T. Osborne, would later purchase the school and model it in his own meticulous image. No doubt Kim's spirit was in those school hallways and with anyone who pursues education and personal betterment.
