Summer 2021 Giveaway Winner

The 2021 Summer Donor Giveaway has been awarded! We created this giveaway as a way to thank all of the wonderful donors who helped us have a successful second year! Thanks to all of you, we were able to donate over 700 school supply kits and award the $1,000 Emily Ringler Memorial Scholarship to Gabbi Fender. The giveaway was live streamed on our twitch, twitch.tv/thebackpackfund . The code and data set used to determine the winner are in a repository which is linked on this page for full transparency. Thank you to everyone who donated and congratulations to our two winners: Janice Coleman and Barb Nichols! Barb Nichols won our second place prize, the Cavs Swag bag.
