The Backpack Fund’s goal is to ensure kids in Lake County have access to the school supplies and
scholarships they need for their education. Schools are a place for dreams to grow through creativity
and learning. All students should have access to the supplies, books, and scholarships to aid them in
the pursuit of their biggest dreams.
The Backpack Fund’s values are leadership, confidence, and integrity. To us leadership is thinking for
yourself, confidence is believing in yourself, and integrity is doing the right thing when no one is
looking. With these guiding values we want to inspire kids to dream. Kids should never be afraid to
dream. Kids are capable of anything.
